FH Design Begins Space Planning, Interior Design for Nashville Airport Expansion
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Feltus Hawkins Design will manage space planning and interior design for Nashville International Airport’s (BNA) future administrative office building.
FH Design is teamed with Messer Construction Co. and Moody Nolan for this part of Metro Nashville Airport Authority’s ongoing expansion plan, which includes the administrative office building to be located on the fifth and sixth levels of a new six-level parking garage with approximately 3,000 spaces and a pedestrian plaza.
The new office space will replace MNAA’s current office space in the terminal and also provide room for the federal Transportation Security Administration and other airport services.
A charrette with the management team defining the culture will kick off the process as FH Design considers how business will flow, people will move and information is delivered throughout the space. The firm will then create an inspiring environment that supports the client’s vision and is infused with its unique brand personality.
FH Design’s previous work with MNAA includes the successful renovation of the John C. Tune Airport terminal, preliminary programming analysis of the executive and support offices and demolition documents for the MNAA terminal-area parking garage.
